writing objectives

I am trying to apply for jobs in the customer service field and I had a internet resume company give me an evaluation on my current resume. They came back and told me that I used the words “I and Me” to much in the objective and that I needed to change it up a bit. At first, I thought to myself that they were just criticizing it because they wanted me to pay $200.00 to get one done with them professionally, but after a weeks of searching for a job and getting no response from any employers (I’ve applied for about 100 jobs and I have four years experience in the customer service field), I am starting to wonder. Can anyone help me?

employee goals

I work for an office supply company for 6 years and this year was very tough as many things were promised to help me achieve my numbers. We have been without a manager for 5 months until recenlty and they wanted to write me up. My former manager didnt want to write me up as there were many issues within the company that prevented me from achieving my goals. Major accounts were taken away from me without notice , some were lost becuse of upper managment bad judgements. I am now being told to turn things around in one month or be fired. I am not even getting the chance until the end of the regular month. What can I do? Human Resources can be your worst enemy or best friend? Should I hire a lawyer? I am not getting my due process. Thanks for any feedback

employee goals

I worked at a bank where I was miserable for two years, and a month ago I got fed up and gave them 2 weeks notice. I don’t have another job yet and I’m having difficulty with what to tell potential employers my reason for leaving was. The truth is my manager played favorites, and treated me unfairly. She would make inappropriate comments about my weight and falsely accuse me of being anorexic. I worked 40 hours a week when I was only supposed to work 25, but she refused to give me full time employement because she didn’t want to pay benefits. The branch’s sales goals were completely unreasonable and 50% of our performance was based on meeting these goals. We were expected to open as many new accounts in a town of 20,000 as branches in downtown Chicago, population 3 million. She denied me raises not once but twice. In two years I got a whopping 30 cent increase. I was a good employee. I had exceptional customer service satisfaction scores and was extremely reliable. What do I say?

goals measurable

I have a job review soon and my boss wants me to come up with 3 measurable goals. I’m new to this company. It’s a very small company with no real room for advancement. I’m not sure what my goals should be. Can anyone give me example generic job goals?

goals measurable

I have to turn in to my boss a list of my goals for the next year. I am an office manager and cant think of a single goal besides “get everything done efficiently and on schedule”. He says goals should be specific, measurable, and realistic but a stretch. HELP! I can come up with anything!

employee goals

I recently went back to school and will graduate with a B.S. in accounting next week at age 50. I have been told more than once, mainly by professors, that although it is illegal, most auditing and accounting firms will not hire older people to work for them. I have a 3.8 GPA, have many life experiences that would make me a good employee, and I’m very goal oriented, yet I feel discouraged to apply now.

management by objective

I was fired because of mystery shop reports. The overall
reports were not neg. In point of fact they said in the sidebars that I was friendly, enthusiastic, efficient, courteous, etc.
Apparantly I missed things on the main objectives of the shop. Two that I know of are allegedly I had forgot to put on my name tag and I didn’t use the person’s name during the transaction. Granted, I disagree with using a total stranger’s name on so many levels but I still did it(esp. w/ strangers)because it had been made part of my job.Since my transfer to that location, in a very small town, personality conflicts between myself and the 2 mgrs arose. I’ve felt in my gut that something about myshops weren’t right. An individual in the upper echelon of mgmt told us during a meeting once that his own daughter was a shopper. The mgmt to which I refer have displayed a consistent lack of ethics and have made every effort to discredit and impugn me.
Can it even happen-How do I prove it-Any recourse?
Moving on is certainly my intention, but when I filed for unemployment my claim was denied because the company is calling it gross misconduct. Of course I am appealing such a ludicrous accusation. I was just hoping I might find something else, other than legal definitions of misconduct to use in my appeal. One does tend to become tired of continually taking a knife in the back.
