goals measurable

His first priority sports-wise is football, but he plays baseball and runs track as well, to “stay in shape during the off season”. During the school year he also takes a conditioning class in school, and does passing drills in the am. He has asked us about protein supplements, but he is a good eater, and I’d like to have the right foods in the house for him. I’d like to be able to have an intelligent and legitimate arguement for convincing him that a chocolate muffin from Costco for breakfast and skipping lunch is not going to help him reach his goals on the field. He is a natural athlete and is very motivated by success and measurable physical gains. What should he be eating for breakfast on a regular basis? Are there any types of foods that would be better before a game?

goals measurable

I’m a State Insurance Adjuster and every year I have to come up with 4 goals for the upcoming year. The goals have to be measurable by Supervisor and something that can be seen by taking action. I just hate to do this and for the last 14 years I have come up with something. I’m all out of goals.

goals measurable

A. a short-term goal
B. a valuable addition to your mission statement
C. not clear and not measurable
D. a slow-growth option

goals measurable

They say goals should be SMART:

S = specific
M = measurable
A = attainable
R = realistic
T = timely

I agree with the Specific, Measurable, and Timely, but I find the Attainable and Realistic to be a bit confusing - they’re too similar.

I’ve read other interpretations with the A standing for Appropriate, and also the R standing for Relevant. Which do you think works best for the A (Attainable or Appropriate) and the R (Realistic or Relevant)?
I had been using Attainable and Realistic. But I’m thinking of changing Realistic to Relevant and keeping the A as Attainable (because I kind of see it as the same thing as Realistic).

Example - I like playing Tennis, but can I be a professional? Is it attainable? Probably not, it’s not realistic. However, another view of it is - is it relevant? I would say no, I enjoy playing tennis, but becoming a pro is not relevant to my overall purpose in life.

goals measurable

I go to a Youth Group, and I am on the Student Leadership Team. We are supposed to have some goals for our youth group!
I was wondering if anyone had some goals that were good? (they have to be measurable)
Example: 30 people in the Youth Group Consistently
10 people join church out of youth group, 5 people get saved?

Anymore would be great!!
Thanks,
Perry

employee goals

My company is requiring all employees to work AT LEAST 48.5 hours per week, every week, reguardless of work load, until further notice, so that they can meet their “billable hours” goals. As a salaried (exempt) employee, I am not entitled to any extra pay for this extra work. Also, a vacation day is still only worth 8 hours, so if I take a day off, I still have to work 40.5 hours that week! This seems like abuse of the system to me. Are there any laws against this king of thing?
